While cleaning her husband’s grandmother’s home, she found negatives and photos from the 1800’s.   Great, Great, Grandmother C. was a woman before her time.  It seems she purchased many acres of land in the Dakotas that is still managed by the women in the family.

Yesterday’s Trappings

Time to organize and discard clutter.

Ugh.  Scary.  No-don’t throw that away!   Hay-I might need that some day!

But, clearing away the clutter makes room for the  good stuff.

So, I purchased Marie Kondo’s book, ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up’.    When I read her suggestion to hold each item and ask yourself if it brings you joy, I thought, that’s not going to work -but, it kind of does.

Yesterdays trappings-

finding joy under the dust-

 garbage bags of discards.
