Strolling main street,
my sister at my side,
“Dupers is the Library.”
A bench announces/someone
famous once lived here.
Benny’s trio plays the grocery store.
The shadow of Police etched in glass,
under the new paint of the coffee shop,
the Catholic church bells ring in mass,
The Corner Bar, still thrives I’m told.
I see a man and woman,
strolling hand in hand down the dusty street,
a moments glance,
strangers in town.
